According to Ug News Media Europe,The attempts of some Western circles and especially the Armenian lobby to diminish the importance of Azerbaijan for Europe have failed.Asim Mollazade, a member of the Milli Majlis, said this in his statement to”Ug News Media Europe”.According to the MP, the 9th meeting of the Ministers within the framework of the Southern Gas Corridor Consultative Council and the 1st meeting of the Ministers within the framework of the Green Energy Consultative Council in Baku, together with the President of Romania, officials from many countries of the West participated and gave great support to the projects of Azerbaijan:
“Azerbaijan’s strategic projects such as gas, oil and green energy are already creating new opportunities for Europe. Besides all this, Azerbaijan provides transport through the Caspian Sea, which connects Europe and the East. Each of these issues was discussed at the meetings.According to him, Azerbaijan is currently implementing mega-projects in the direction of green energy along with traditional energy:”Romania, Hungary and other European countries will have the opportunity to benefit from the green energy produced by Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan’s strategic development in the energy field is a great support for Europe’s energy security. Currently, there is a serious energy shortage in Europe, and therefore Azerbaijan’s projects in the energy field play the role of a breather for Europe. Today, Azerbaijan is able to supply Italy with 15 percent of energy. Azerbaijan’s support in these difficult days contributes to the development and sustainability of Italian industry. This is also emphasized by the Italian leadership. In a word, Azerbaijan’s projects in the energy field will seriously help Europe get out of the energy crisis.”All this is a solid response to the slander campaign against Azerbaijan, and at the same time, it is a serious message to the countries trying to compete with Azerbaijan,” A. Mollazade stressed.
