Like the rest of the world, Pakistanis in Britain are proving their mettle in sports with their hard work and performance. Similarly, Pakistani businessman Zahid K. Barkhord from Layyah, Pakistan, is the first boxer in the world to have participated in 15 boxing matches and won all of them. Now, on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, he is taking part in a big boxing match in Manchester, UK, for the WBC Asia Welterweight Title. Speaking exclusively to senior British journalist and anchor Arif Chaudhry after a press conference with the media today, he said that God willing, in this important match, I will win the title by defeating my opponent in Pakistan. He further said that I faced many difficulties in the beginning of my career, but by the grace of Allah Almighty and the prayers of my parents, I am at this point today. In this, apart from other friends, especially Fahad Ashfaq, Director of Kailash Cloth Limited, and Asad Shamim, an award-winning businessman from the UK, have always guided and supported me. It should be remembered that there is a lot of excitement among the people in Layyah, the hometown of Muhammad Ali boxer, and boards for this fight are put up everywhere and on the day of the fight, the live boxing match is being shown on a big screen in Layyah.
