An information ceremony was organized at the Active Women’s Center, established for the welfare of women, by the center’s spirited former mayor, Councilor Shahina Haroon and Councilor Ayesha

. Consul General Imtiaz Feroz Gondal, posted at the Pakistani Consulate in Manchester – Mrs. Nousheen Imtiaz – and Senior Police Officer Abid Hussain and other prominent figures participated.

– ⁠- Women who completed educational courses from the center were also given special certificates by Consul General Imtiaz Feroz Gondal and Mrs. Nousheen Imtiaz – Later, Inspector of Police Abid Hussain and his team gave lectures and answered questions at the Hate Crime Workshop -. On this occasion, Consul General Imtiaz Feroz Gondal said that the Active Women’s Center is teaching various life skills to women of the multicultural community so that they can play an active role in the society. As the Consul General, I intend to work together with the assurance of full cooperation. Councilor Ayesha Arif said that the arrival of Consul General Imtiaz Feroz Gondal was a welcome event. His interaction with the women was positive. It is hoped that he will visit the programs of various organizations and inform them about his role. Former Mayor Councilor Shahina Haroon said that after twenty-nine years, a Consul General has come to see the activities of our center. Imtiaz Feroz Gondal is determined to serve the community. We assure him of our full cooperation. The administrative changes made by the Pakistani Consulate in Manchester have increased its prestige within the community. Mrs. Imtiaz Feroz Gondal said that I thought that only Pakistani women were benefiting from the center, but after coming here, I found out that it is teaching various skills to women from the multicultural community to play an active role in the society so that they can do their work without depending on anyone. The management of the center deserves real congratulations. Senior Police Officer Abid Hussain and other participants in the ceremony also described the center’s activities as beneficial for the community.

The long-standing efforts of the administration of the Bari Active Women’s Center to empower the multicultural community to play a key role in society are receiving immense recognition at the local level.
