The funeral prayer was led by prominent religious scholar Maulana Qari Abdul Shakoor Qadri, and a special prayer was led by religious scholar Syed Attaullah Shah Bukhari – Mufti Muhammad Azam, other scholars, and prominent figures of the community, former mayors of Oldham Atiqur Rehman, Chaudhry Muhammad Riaz, Shadab Qamar – District Councillor Chaudhry Javed Iqbal, Opposition Leader of Oldham Council Kamran Ghafoor, Councillor Abdul Wahid, former councillor Haji Syed Basit Shah Mashwani – Chaudhry Muhammad Tufail, Chaudhry Iqbal – Councillor Randeem Iqbal – Chaudhry Muhammad Razzaq – Haji Muhammad Aslam – Haji Asif – Councillor Naseem Aslam – Chaudhry Nasir – Councillor Zaheer – Chaudhry Muhammad Ishaq – Chaudhry Yaqub – Chaudhry Abdul Majeed – Councillor Raja Shabbir Kakkarvi – Former Coordinator Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Maqsood Hussain – Muhammad Majeed – Thekdar Waseem – – Naseem Khan – Chaudhry Rifaat – Chaudhry Raju – Raja Umar Sharif – Former Councilor Javed Iqbal – Chaudhry Mehdi Khan, Uncle Shabbir – Judge Barrister Abid Hussain, Haji Tariq Rafique and others attended. The participants of the funeral prayer said that today, in these moments of great sorrow, we have no words to express our condolences to this great personality. The late Chaudhry Shabbir Ahmed was a very sociable humanitarian and treated everyone with love. His selfless services to the community and the good manners with which he treated people of all ages will never go out of date. We pray to Allah Almighty to forgive the deceased and raise his ranks and grant him a high place in Paradise. Amen, Amen. After the funeral prayer, the late Chaudhry Shabbir Ahmed was laid to rest amidst the sighs and sobs of his relatives, friends and colleagues of Oldham Chadderton. Every eye was filled with tears and prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased.
