In which former mayor Councilor Tafin Sharif, Mayor Shibli Alam, Councilor Naila Sharif, Councilor Kalil Khan, Atta Rasool, Superintendent of Police Chaudhry Safdar Hanjra from Pakistan, international business personality Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood Hanjra and other leading figures participated. Former mayor Councilor Tafin Sharif said that humanity living in this world is one, beyond color, race, religion, caste, we should live together, host Nabila Akram said that we should live together in unity and harmony within the community, beyond religion, caste. Mayor Shibli Alam said that it was good to come to the intercultural and religious event. Councillor Naila Sharif said that our message is that there is no place for ethnic and religious extremism in our society, as human beings we are one. Superintendent of Police Chaudhry Safdar Hanjra and Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood Hanjra, who came from Pakistan, said that organizing such intercultural and interfaith community events promotes mutual interaction within the community and increases awareness of each other’s culture. Councillor Kalil Khan. Young politicians Atta Rasool Chohan and Naheed also said that organizing such events is very important for unity, agreement and mutual harmony between the intercultural and interfaith community.

The efforts of Ashton Central Mosque Community Centre and Tameside Health Group to deal with extremism and profiteering behavior within the intercultural and interfaith community living in Ashton and its surroundings are commendable and worthy of imitation by others.
