Oldham Council Leader Urooj Shah said that Asian women delay in diagnosing breast cancer and it is very important to make them aware of this so that they can be treated in time. Warrington Council Mayor Moh Hussain said that the organization is doing a wonderful job in making Asian women aware of breast cancer and we should all help them with modern treatment methods. Stem cell specialist Dr. Dawood Qazi said that one in seven women in the UK suffers from breast cancer and such events make them aware of this disease. Judge Barrister Abid Hussain said that it is an honour for me to be among the various groups present to raise awareness about breast cancer. Councillor Naila Sharif said that breast cancer is found in men as well as women, so it is very important to make men aware of this disease too. Miss England Charlotte Grant said that It is an honor for me to be part of the breast cancer awareness event. Deputy Lieutenant Najma Khalid, founder and director of the Chai Group, said that we are also raising awareness about breast cancer through our group. Professional doctors and other organizations participated in the Pink Gala Dinner and raised awareness about this disease. Former Mayor Councilor Tafin Sharif said that very useful and timely information about breast cancer was conveyed to the community, which will bring positive results. Oldham Mayor Eddie Morris and Riffat Parveen also described the participation in the event as informative.
