The meeting discussed mutual interests and community issues. The ongoing initiatives by the government were covered and the restoration of PIA flights from Manchester, establishment of special courts, positive legislation and One Window Facilitation Center were welcomed.
Barrister Amjad Malik termed the establishment of special courts in Islamabad and Punjab by the Pakistani government as a step towards resolving community issues.
Consul General of Pakistan Manchester Imtiaz Feroz Gondal termed the Pakistani community as positive and an asset for Pakistan and stressed on further highlighting the role of women and the youth in the country’s development.
