Dr. Khurram Shahzad, Director of General Surgery at the Royal Oldham Hospital, hosted a dinner at a local restaurant in Manchester in honor of the doctors, nurses and other professionals who have rendered professional services in the Department of General Surgery.

Senior Specialist Dr. Ghulam Anjum, Dr. Sohail Anwar – Dr. Amin – Charlotte Docker – Nurses Katharina, Charlotte, Tesfaton – Sarah Hogg – Dr. Nahiya, Dr. Jawahar and others participated. Host Dr. Khurram Siddique said that I hosted a dinner in honor of the doctors and nurses who have worked tirelessly day and night in my department to care for and treat patients and other people who are providing professional services in the department and celebrated the achievements achieved in the year 2025 and vowed to work even better in the future. Dr. Anjum and Dr. Sohail Anwar said that our time in the surgical department is very difficult. Organizing such an event gives us an opportunity to meet, discuss mutual exchange and also discuss the future. Dr. Neha said that it was a golden opportunity to meet with colleagues, which is welcome. Dr. Jawahar said that sitting together builds deep relationships with each other. Nurses Kathrina, Charlotte and Las, who attended the dinner, also got a golden opportunity to chat and discuss with colleagues away from professional life in a friendly atmosphere. Other people who attended the dinner also called it a wonderful initiative for mental and physical health.
