The funeral prayer of the late Haji Muhammad Majeed, a prominent religious figure of Rachdale, father of Hafiz Mufid Ahmed and Tahir Zakaria and Muhammad Naveed, was offered at Masjid Faizan Madina, Rachdale. The funeral prayer was led by his son Hafiz Mufid Ahmed. The funeral prayer was attended by a large number of business, religious, political figures and the community, including President of Pak-Italy UK Welfare Committee Chaudhry Ghulam Ahmed – Roh Lay Chaudhry Saeed – Zia Mohuddin – Deputy Mayor Rochdale Councillor Faisal Rana – Deputy Leader Councillor Adalat Ali – Former Mayor Councillor Shakeel Ahmed – Councillor Chaudhry Arshad – eminent religious scholar Mufti Muhammad Munir-uz-Zaman Chishti – Muhammad Irfan Chishti – Those who participated in the funeral prayer said that Haji Muhammad Majeed played an active role in serving the religion of Islam and the community. Did he light his own lamp and sleep eternally today? He further said that he held a unique position in character and speech. The fact that such a large number of believers attended the funeral prayer is proof that his good behavior towards people is exemplary and worthy of imitation and guidance for us. On this occasion, his sons and Chaudhry Saeed – Chaudhry Ghulam Ahmed – Zia Mohiuddin thanked the participants in the funeral prayer. He further said that we have never seen the late Haji Muhammad Majeed show his heart to anyone in his life or do injustice to anyone. He always actively participated in community and welfare works. May Allah Almighty grant him a high position in Paradise and grant him the visit and intercession of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in his grave. Amen. Amen.

One of the efforts made by our elders for the elevation of the religion of Islam, which was in the form of Haji Muhammad Majeed, has blossomed today and has made his name in history by sleeping eternally until the Day of Judgment.
