The All Pakistan Women’s Association (APWA) held a grand Eid party and musical night on April 25, 2026, in Manchester, attracting a large number of women from across the city and surrounding areas. The event aimed to provide entertainment while raising funds for welfare initiatives.
The program commenced with a recitation of the Holy Quran by Dr. Fizza Bibi.
Held under the patronage of Chairperson Begum Nausheen Imtiaz, APWA has been working since 1992 for the welfare of women and children. After supporting projects in Karachi, the organization is now actively managing welfare initiatives in Punjab.
The chief guest at the event was Member of Parliament Yasmin Qureshi and Mrs Nazia Liaqat Malik .Other distinguished guests included, Shaheena Haroon, Mrs. Shakeela Afzal Khan, Colonel Mrs. Amjad, community Atachi Musbah Noreen , Samia Awais and other notable attendees.
APWA has adopted a school in Begumpura, Lahore, where it provides uniforms, books, and essential facilities. The organization is committed to supporting the institution until it becomes self-sufficient. Previously, funds raised were used to install solar panels at APWA College Lahore.
The musical evening featured renowned Pakistani singer Raafay Israr, who delivered an engaging performance that was well received by the audience.
Event arrangements were efficiently handled by Stage Secretary Sabira Naheed, with strong support from Joint Secretary Razia Balm. Shabana Iqbal , Tanzeela Zia, Mishal Aqeel , Sofia Mughal , Komal khan and Mina Aftab played an important role in raffle management, guest coordination, and communications.
An auction and raffle draw were also held. Auction items were generously provided by Chairperson Begum Nosheen Imtiaz and Mishal Pinky, including paintings, decorative items, and bridal packages. Participants showed great enthusiasm and contributed generously.
APWA extended special thanks to Dr. Liaquat Malik, Begum Nazia Liaquat Malik, Rasib Khan, Faisal Ishaq, and all volunteers and supporters who helped make the event successful.

At the conclusion, Chairperson Begum Nausheen Imtiaz expressed heartfelt gratitude to all guests, supporters, and participants whose contributions made the event a memorable success. Vice Chairperson Begum Abida Gaznavi presented the vote of thanks.
The event was widely appreciated as a successful blend of entertainment and philanthropy, raising valuable funds for educational initiatives in Lahore.
