During the meeting, detailed discussions took place regarding the issues faced by the local community in relation to the Consulate. The Consul General assured them of all possible cooperation to resolve these matters. Commemorative shields were exchanged between the two sides at the Mayor’s Parlour, and the guests recorded their impressions in the Mayor’s visitor book. Mayor Faisal Rana and the Mayoress, Iram Faisal, also hosted a special luncheon in honor of the guests. The meeting at Rochdale Town Hall concluded with a shared resolve to further strengthen ties between the community and the Consulate.
At the special invitation of the Mayor of Rochdale, Faisal Rana, Consul General Imtiaz Feroz Gondal, Deputy Consul General Danish Mahmood, and Officer Shahrukh—stationed at the Pakistan Consulate in Manchester—held a special meeting at the Mayor’s Parlour.
