Writing and playing such songs is a gross abuse of the Hindu community. Minority Member Provincial Assembly Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
PESHAWAR:(Report By Wisal Ahmed) According to UG Media Report, a demand was made to ban Pashto songs to the detriment of the Hindu community. It was pointed out in the House that a Pashto song contains the motto of converting a Hindu girl to Islam which has hurt the heartfelt sentiments of the Hindu community in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but so far no notice has been issued by PEMRA on these insulting words. He said that writing and playing such songs is an affront to the Hindu community. He demanded that the Speaker of the Provincial Assembly be given a roll call and a complete ban on singing.
