Furrkh Siddique senior vice President Jhelum forum, Manchester branch is leading the Jhelum forum flood relief activities. He is back from Rajinpur and is raising the funds to reach out to flood effected areas as far as possible. The scale of loss and havoc requires a continuous support to share the grief of flood victims and help them as far as possible.
Uptill now 384 homes have partially or fully paid for to rebuild the homes. Three mosques, one Madressa, a dowery to a family & one rear family expense, 100 tents and one month ration to 100 families, filtration plants worth Rs64 Lacs, help in building a dam to the sum of Rs20 Lacs, help to the sum of Rs15 Lacs to individuals and families in hardships . This all was done by Jhelum forum flood relief activities as a team and with all sincerity by spending every single penny of funds wisely and responsibly. No administration cost and all expenses of journey, stay and food extra from personal pockets.
The Idea of Ch Rafiq was built up by hard work and sincerity by Furrkh Siddique and later joined by Farshad Kiyani and Raja Naqqash Saeed. Haji Zafar Iqbal, Abid Ali, Ch Imran Hamid and Qasim Shah put life and energy in the flood relief activities. Help was provided with respect and dignity of flood victims at there door.
