According to Ug News Media Europe,Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kisida said that Russia uses energy resources as a political tool.”Ug News Media Europe” informs that this was reported by the NHK TV channel.The politician characterized the situation of Europe, which depends on Russia’s energy resources, as “terrible”:
“For decades, Europe was busy with life and production based on stable and cheap energy supply from Russia. “However, Russia’s attack on Ukraine has fundamentally changed the picture of the future of Europe, the situation has become dire.”
He also noted that Russia and some other countries use energy resources as a tool of political pressure. Kisida added that Japan is similarly dependent on imports from Middle Eastern countries.
In this regard, he noted the necessity of development of all fields of energy, including nuclear power.
