According to Ug News Media Europe,Gianni Infantino, the president of the Association of International Football Federations (FIFA), was interrogated by the Swiss prosecutor’s office regarding abuse of power.Ug News Media Europe reports with reference to “Le Monde” newspaper that Gianni Infantino is accused of abusing official powers, spreading official secrets and obstructing the investigation. In July 2020, the Swiss prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case against Gianni Infantino and Michael Lauber, the country’s former federal prosecutor. FIFA avoided commenting on the incident.Gianni Infantino worked at the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) from 2000 to 2016.
