According to Ug News Media Europe,French President Emmanuel Macron does not intend to apologize to Algeria for the colonial era.Ug News Media Europe reports that E. Macron said this in an interview with “the Ug News EU” newspaper.He believes that he will receive his Algerian counterpart Abdelmajid Tebbou in Paris in order to continue joint efforts to reconcile the two countries.”I don’t see the need to apologize, that’s not the point.Because such a gesture can break all ties,” said the French President.It should be noted that 1.5 million Algerians were killed as a result of France’s colonial policy in Algeria.
