Ramil Hasan, a member of the Milli Majlis, said this in his statement to”Ug News Media Europe”.Stating that the resolution adopted by the European Parliament on January 18 is completely far from reality, the MP added that it will seriously affect the current relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union:”The organization has already taken on the role played by France today and made an irresponsible and unfair decision. Of course, the mentioned resolution is not important for Azerbaijan or the region. The entire Azerbaijani community and the world community should know this. All the decisions and resolutions that affect the peace and security in the region are grist to the Armenian mill and once again show that the European Parliament and many other institutions like it are in the swamp of bribery. Instead of thinking about the national interests of the peoples living in their territories, this institution considers the interests of lobbies and diasporas and makes decisions in their interests. At this time, the question arises that in order to make such decisions, The deputy noted that such ugly cases will raise doubts about the seriousness and responsibility of the European Parliament, as well as the authenticity of the decisions and resolutions adopted by the institution:
“If the European Parliament and its deputies can find an opportunity to make so much noise about the approximately 25-30 thousand Karabakh Armenians, why even one, with Nakhchivan, which has been under blockade for 30 years, and the West of their ancestral homeland in 1988 100 thousand Azerbaijanis who were expelled from Azerbaijan, as well as Azerbaijanis who were exiled from Karabakh for 30 years and subjected to brutality, did not adopt a resolution. Even once, he did not reveal an objective position regarding the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.R. Hasan emphasized that, as President Ilham Aliyev mentioned, we will not allow any state and international organization that takes a unilateral, unfair position on these issues to participate in the ongoing processes:
“On the one hand, it reveals the sincere relations of the President of the European Union Council Charles Michel and many other heads of the European Union government institutions, which are conducting serious discussions with Azerbaijan regarding the provision of energy security, with the President of Azerbaijan, how important and necessary a partner Azerbaijan is in the eyes of the world media. is repeatedly expressed, and on the other hand, the European Parliament adopts a strange resolution about Azerbaijan. Of course, these circumstances will cast a shadow on relations and will have laid the foundation for revising Azerbaijan’s foreign policy strategy.”All the forces that still see Azerbaijan as a weak country in the 90s should clearly know that today Azerbaijan is a strong and powerful state. We advise the European Parliament to accept the new realities that have arisen in the region and support the steps taken to ensure the peace and tranquility of the peoples living here. When conducting its foreign policy, Azerbaijan does not act under the dictates of any state or organization. Up to now, he has obtained the rights and rights provided to him only and only by his own power. I am sure that the steps to be taken from now on will further strengthen Azerbaijan’s role in solving all problems and processes in a fair way,” R. Hasan emphasized.
