Brtania:(International Desk) According to Ug News Media Europe,Ukrainian tankers will soon start learning to drive Challenger 2 series tanks in Great Britain.
“Ug News Media Europe” informs with reference to Jazba Times USA that Vadim Prystayko, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom, informed about this.
According to him, the preparation will not take much time. According to British instructors, the Ukrainian servicemen are learning quickly because they are more interested: “Teams are about to start training in Great Britain. Crews of heavy artillery systems are already training, tankers will arrive soon.”
It should be recalled that Great Britain announced that it will give Ukraine 14 “Challenger 2” tanks .
“Challenger 2” is the main battle tank of the United Kingdom and is also in service with the armed forces of Oman. This is a deep modernization of the first “Challenger” model, a tank of the 80s. It was in production from 1993 until 2009, when the British Ministry of Defense stopped ordering new armored vehicles.
