According to Ug News Media Europe,A meeting with the Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci was held in the West Azerbaijan Community.”Ug News Media Europe” informs that J. Bagci, embassy adviser Zeynep Kıvılcım and third secretary Gencehan Babish visited the building of the community.The heads of the main bodies of the Community – Chairman of the Board Aziz Alakbarli, Deputy Chairman of the Board Ramil Hasan, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Misir Mardanov, Chairman of the Council of Elders Ahliman Amiraslanov, Chairman of the Women’s Council Malahat Ibrahimgizi and Chairman of the Youth Council Ramin Mammadov took part in the meeting.During the meeting, it was brought to the ambassador’s attention that the Armenian government refuses to take measures to restore the rights of expelled Azerbaijanis and continues to deprive them of the right to live in their homeland.
It was noted that the support of the international community is important for ensuring the recognized rights of expelled Azerbaijanis within the framework of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international conventions.
In his speech, A. Alekbarli expressed great satisfaction that the representative of the foreign state, who was the first to visit the Community, was the ambassador of Turkey, and the diplomat was expelled four times during the last century – in 1905-1906, 1918-1920, 1948-1953 and 1988-1991. , reported about his deportation from the geographical area now called Armenia, war crimes and crimes against humanity committed against Azerbaijanis during these events.
