According to Ug News Media Europe,We strongly condemn the armed attack on the embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran!” Ug News Media Europe informs that Elman Abdullayev, Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to UNESCO, wrote this on Twitter.
“As a result of this heinous attack on our diplomatic representation, the head of the security service of the embassy, Orkhan Askerov, was martyred. May God have mercy on him!”, he said.
It should be recalled that on January 27, at around 8:30 am Baku time, there was an armed attack on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The perpetrator of the terrorist attack broke the security post with a Kalashnikov automatic weapon and killed the head of the security service. Two security guards of the embassy were also injured while preventing the attack. The condition of the injured is satisfactory.The perpetrator of the terrorist attack was detained by an employee of the Azerbaijani embassy.
