According to Ug News Media Europe,Within the framework of the bilateral military cooperation program signed between Azerbaijan and the defense ministries of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, on January 23 – February 2 of this year, “Training course on awareness of explosive hazards” was held with the participation of specialists of the International School of Security and Explosives Education.”Ug News Media Europe” was informed about this by the Ministry of Defense.The ceremony of presenting certificates to those who successfully completed the course was held at the Training and Education Center of the Azerbaijan Army with the participation of the management team of the National Defense University, Fergus Auld, the United Kingdom’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to our country, as well as representatives of the military attaché apparatus, experts of the International School of Security and Explosives Training, and the audience.Those who spoke at the ceremony emphasized the importance of the courses held in terms of mutual exchange of experience, noted the need to further develop the existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom in the field of military education.The support provided by the United Kingdom in the direction of decontamination of territories in Azerbaijan from mines and unexploded ammunition within the framework of the UN Development Program was specially mentioned. Confidence was expressed that the knowledge and skills acquired by the audience during the course will be applied in the demining of territories freed from occupation.At the end, a commemorative photo was taken.
