According to Ug News Media Europe,Poland will not be able to act alone in providing Ukraine with warplanes, and it needs the consent of the allies.Ug News Media Europe reports that Polish President Andrzej Duda expressed these views in an interview with the Jazba Times US.Before his planned visit to Great Britain on February 16-17, the head of state pointed out that the delivery of Polish F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine is a very serious decision, and this decision cannot be made easily. Since Poland is a member of NATO, such a decision should be a general decision of the alliance.The Polish armed forces have about fifty US-made aircraft of this type, which is not even enough to protect Poland’s own airspace. On the other hand, the provision of these fighters to Ukraine requires technical review, training, etc. It is also related to a number of logistical difficulties.
It should be noted that Poland has repeatedly called on its NATO partners to agree to the supply of combat aircraft to Ukraine along with tanks. Prime Minister Mateusz Moravietski said on this topic that his country is only in favor of sending warplanes, while all NATO partners agree.
