In addition, the fact that Azerbaijan has become an irreplaceable source in Europe’s energy security has further increased the importance of our country. According to the Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Partnership in the field of energy signed in Baku with the President of the European Commission, Mrs. Ursula von der Leyen, Azerbaijan will export 20 billion cubic meters of natural gas through TAP by 2027. With TANAP, it is planned to reach 32 billion cubic meters. “In particular, the agreed projects in the direction of the production and export of renewable energy have made Azerbaijan an important partner for Europe.”
The deputy noted that President Ilham Aliyev was invited to the 59th Munich Security Conference, which began on February 17, as the most important partner and expert speaker who defines the world agenda and shares his thoughts.The views expressed by the head of state at the round table on energy security attended by the world community were followed with great interest.
