According to Ug News Europe,The State Duma of Russia adopted a law on the suspension of the country’s participation in the Treaty on Strategic Offensive Weapons (SATT).Ug News Europe reports that according to the law, only the president can take the decision to resume Russia’s participation in the agreement in the future.It should be recalled that on February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that his country had stopped participating in the SHS-3 agreement signed with the United States. At the same time, V.Putin stated that this does not mean that the Russian Federation has completely withdrawn from the agreement.Russia wants the nuclear arsenals of other NATO countries – France and Great Britain – to be taken into account in order to resume participation in the treaty.
