According to Ug News Europe,The use of “dirty” energy sources has increased in order to eliminate the energy crisis in Europe as a result of the ongoing military operations in Ukraine.Ug News Europe reports with reference to “Anadolu” agency that 26 power plants in Europe have started working with coal. In Great Britain, for the first time in the last 30 years, a decision was made to put coal mines into operation. Before the Ukraine crisis, 300 coal mines were closed in the European Union countries, and the use of coal decreased to 13 percent. But the energy crisis led to the restart of the mines. Currently, the use of coal has risen to 16 percent. The German government has decided to restart some of the nuclear power plants it shut down in 2008 due to environmental damage. A total of 14 units of nuclear power plants have already been commissioned in Germany.France, Austria, Spain and Finland have also started producing electricity using coal. Italy postponed the decision to close the nuclear power plant. The energy crisis caused by the ongoing military operations between Russia and Ukraine does not allow the European Union to implement its policy of gradually abandoning nuclear energy.
