Yesterday, 1175 immigrants arrived in Italy by sea.

Rome:(Report by Nihad Budagov) According to Ug News Europe,During the last 24 hours, 1175 migrants were received by sea on the island of Lampedusa in the south of Sicily.Ug News Media Europe reports that 17 boats with a total of 705 migrants, including minors and women, arrived at the port on the island at night.Italian coastguards also rescued 470 migrants from 13 small boats. They are reportedly citizens of Chad, Syria, Sudan, Yemen, Senegal, Mali, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Liberia and Gambia.In addition, a boat carrying immigrants sank in Italian waters.Employees of the Coast Guard rescued a total of 20 migrants and pulled out the body of a woman from the water. 38 migrants, including one minor and 11 women, were rescued from another boat that crashed.Italy has become one of the routes of illegal migration from North Africa to Europe in recent years. Last year, more than 105,000 migrants arrived in Italy by sea.
