According to Ug News Media Europe,Presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey will be held on May 14, and if necessary, the second round will be held on May 28.Ug News Media Europe reports with reference to Anadolu Agency that the relevant decision was signed by the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.In his statement, the Turkish leader said that the Supreme Election Commission will prepare a two-month election calendar and on May 14, Turks will be able to elect the president and members of parliament.While explaining the reasons for delaying the elections by almost a month, he said that June 18 coincides with the high school exams.At the same time, hundreds of thousands of our citizens go to the holy lands for pilgrimage.Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that a decision was made to donate to AFAD for candidates from the Justice and Development Party, of which he is the chairman.The head of state also noted that they will conduct the election campaign without music due to the tragedy caused by the Kahramanmaras earthquake.
