58 police officers were injured during protests in Tbilisi.

According to Ug News Media Europe,During the two-day protests in Tbilisi, 58 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) were injured as a result of the violence of the protesters.”Ug News Media Europe” reports with reference to “Sputnik Georgia” that this was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.It was noted that the criminals will answer before the law.It should be recalled that on March 7, after the first reading of the bill “On Foreign Agents” was approved, a clash took place between protesters and the special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs near the building of the Georgian Parliament.The police used water cannons and tear gas against the protesters, in response to which the protesters started throwing Molotov cocktails and stones at them and the parliament building, and also set up barricades.In Georgia, the draft law “On Foreign Agents”is called an analogue of the Russian law.Its acceptance is supported by the ruling “Georgian Dream” party.Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili supported the protesters by promising to veto the law. After that, the ruling party announced that it withdrew the bills from the parliament.
