For the past three years in the Honslow area of West London, the welfare of Open Kitchens, organized by a charity called Muslim Hands, has been recognized locally in recognition of its services. Prominent personalities attended and paid tribute to the open kitchens for providing two meals a day with respect to the homeless and for their continued charitable service during the Code. On the occasion, Mushtaq Lashari, Barrister Riaz Gul, Councilor Raghuvinder Singh, Councilor Pritam Grewal, Chaudhry Abdul Majeed, Zameer Haider, Saleem Mehr and other participants appreciated the selfless welfare services of Ehsan Shahid, the administrator of Open Kitchen, day and night. In their video messages, Malhotra and Ruth Cadbury also called Open Kitchen a key welfare project for Honslow Council. Chairman Muslim Hands Syed Lakht Hasnain specially thanked the media representatives for their cooperation on the occasion and said that soon open kitchens will be opened in other cities of UK where the homeless will be served two meals a day with dignity.
