Chitral:(Chief Ikramuddin) According to Global Times Media Report,A five-day anti-polio drive has been launched in the district under tight security,More than 845 police officers and youths have been deployed for the anti-polio drive.Snapchecking have been set up at various places and checkpoints at the entrances and exits of the district have been made more effective.All SDPOs and SHOs are monitoring the security arrangements in their respective areas.Police officers have been actively engaging in Anti-Polio drive.On the occasion,District Police Chief Sonia Shamrooz Khan in her conversation with International Global Times Media Europe correspondent Chitral said that eradication of polio is the responsibility of all of us.She appealed to the people to cooperate with the concerned agencies.She said that all parents must vaccinate their children from one to five years of age to ensure complete eradication of this contagious disease from the country.District Police Officer Sonia Shamrooz further said that,”Our mission is a polio-free Pakistan,”
