According to Ug News Media Europe,Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar said that 3 soldiers of the Turkish army were martyred as a result of the earthquake.According to the Ankara bureau of “Ug News Media Europe”,the minister said that activities are ongoing to determine the damage and losses caused to the Turkish Armed Forces in this incident.Hulusi Akar also noted that there are soldiers who were injured as a result of the natural disaster.It should be noted that an earthquake of magnitude 7.4 occurred at 05:26 Baku time in Kahramanmaraş Pazarcık district of Turkey. The earthquake was felt in Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Osmaniye, Adıyaman, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Malatya and Adana and surrounding areas, including Ankara.
As a result of the earthquake, at least 284 people died, 2323 people were injured, and 1710 buildings were completely destroyed.
