KARACHI:(Special Representative)According to Ug News Media Report, Karachi Women Entrepreneurs held a small meet-up at Tandoor Restaurant, North Nazimabad on 17th December 2021, Friday. It was a pleasure for being a part of such a great evening. The CEO of KWE, Shama Rashid, is a determined, dedicated and hardworking lady. She is confident, deals any kind of criticism rationally but remains calm, cool and happy. She is someone I would describe as, “A leader is born and not made.”

The event had two popular chief guests to make our meet-up more splendid and purposeful; namely, Madam Seema Shahbaz and Chef Farah Muhammad. Both of the ladies are well-known personalities.

Madam Seema Shahbaz, is the Deputy Convener for CSR Standing Community and also member of Karachi Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She was amazed to see the diversity of our entrepreneurs and suggested our CEO to why not open a restaurant while Chef Farah Muhammad, is a chef, herbalist and nutritionist on ARY Digital, and she illustrated Madam Shama Rashid, as a stairway for all the entrepreneurs.

Shama Rashid then introduced the following entrepreneurs with her team which included; Chef Nafisa Aijaz, she has been associated with Madam Shama since the beginning. She is the Admin of our Foods Group on WhatsApp. Chef Mahwish Khan has been associated with Shama Rashid since 2 years and is a Professional Pâtisserie Chef. She is our admin for the KWE Bakers WhatsApp Group andalso runs a small bakery institute at Abul Hasan Isphani Road. Madam Saima Tabbassum, is an entrepreneur and leads KWE Entrepreneur Group on WhatsApp. Madam Hira Danish, is our CEO’s Secretary and keeps an eagle eye while Madam Sadaf Jan is Karachi Women Entrepreneurs’ Finance Manager.

After introducing the team, Shama Rashid did the honour of providing sashes to the admins mentioned above and badges to all the members present there. The evening was followed by a delicious, delightful, appetizing hi-tea which included 60+ items. Everything was fresh, enjoyable, flavorful and serving size was perfect. The Hi-Tea included; chana tarkari, aloo ka salan, qeema, puri paratha, baked wings, alfredo penne pasta, chicken steak, chicken chowmein, vegetable fried rice accompanied by chicken manchurian, assorted desserts, soup and what not. Everything was on-point and the environment was extremely pleasant. The waiters were very much concerned and served us spontaneously. I absolutely loved their carrot cake. Although, it was swept away already, but I insisted on having more, and they won a customer. I had another piece of it, yeah I am again drooling!!

Last but not the least, I literally enjoyed everything about the evening, even the members were extremely down to earth. We introduced ourselves to each other, exchanged our numbers and some got to know that they are neighbours too. Such a small world we live in. No?
