PML-N Lancashire and Manchester hosted a reception for Pakistan Peoples Party UK Senior Vice President Khawaja Kaleem-ur-Rehman on his appointment as Senior Advisor to the President of Azad Kashmir at the Platinum Lounge, Manchester, which was attended by PML-N UK leaders and community leaders – including PML-N Lancashire President Chaudhry Sikandar Nawaz – Manchester President Nabeel Butt – Vice President Raja Wajid Kayani – Safyan Khan – UK Information Secretary Farhan Mir – UK Senior Vice President Basit Butt – Senior Vice President Chaudhry Saeedullah Mudbar – Businessperson Naeem Qayyum – Khawaja Saleh Kaleem – Chaudhry Ali Taseer – Iqbal Siddiqui – Taseer Chaudhry – Lahore Snooker’s Zafar Nanha and other leaders. On this occasion, Khawaja Kaleem-ur-Rehman welcomed PML-N Manchester President Nabeel Butt and He thanked Shiraz Butt and other leaders for hosting a banquet in his honor. He further said that I am going to Pakistan to take charge of my post tomorrow. Overseas Pakistanis can contact me 24 hours a day for any work. Earlier, hundreds of people were given jobs after becoming the advisor to the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir. Now after taking charge of the post, I will try to meet President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to discuss the construction of an international airport in Azad Kashmir because this is the biggest demand of the Kashmiris. On this occasion, the participants said that they heartily congratulate Khawaja Kaleemur Rehman on becoming the senior advisor to the President of Azad Kashmir. He has always played a prominent role in the Kashmir cause, the overseas Pakistani community and public service. They hoped that he will fully represent the Kashmiri people in his new responsibility. The ceremony ended in a pleasant atmosphere and a lavish banquet was arranged for the guests.
