This world is a temporary abode. Every living thing has to taste the bitter taste of death. The knowledge of the unseen is within the reach of the one and only Allah. When the soul of a person becomes a traveler, some people forget the deceased for a few days, but those who leave good deeds in life, their names live forever. One such great figure, Mian Ghulam Farid, who belonged to Haqiqa Kharian, Pakistan, has met his true creator at the age of almost ninety. His funeral prayers were offered at Hamza Mosque, Ashton and he was buried in the local cemetery – nephew of the late Mian Farid and prominent religious scholar and international religious scholar Sheikh Ahmed Dabbagh led a special prayer – Mian Ghulam Farid left his prestigious police job in Pakistan in the sixties and came to the UK in search of employment and a bright future. After that, he invited hundreds of families to the UK and made them settle here permanently. The community is grieving because of his humanitarianism. On this occasion, Mian Abdul Rashid of Kalanwala said that my brother Mian Ghulam Farid spent his entire life in the service of the community. His death was a very shocking news for our family. I am grateful to the friends and relatives who attended his funeral prayer. Chaudhry Saeed also expressed his heartfelt sorrow over his death. All the friends, relatives and close associates expressed their condolences to the family and prayed that Allah Almighty may grant the deceased a high place in Paradise and grant him the intercession and visitation of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
