A dignified and grand gathering was organized to mark the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) under the patronage of Qari Manzoor Ahmed Shakir, Chief Executive of the Khadija Education Centre, Oldham.

A large number of renowned religious scholars, Quran reciters, Naat reciters, and citizens from across the UK attended the event held at the Khadija Education Centre in Oldham. Devotees offered floral tributes of reverence in the court of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), while religious scholars enlightened the audience by shedding light on the Seerah (life and character) of the Master of the Universe, thereby spiritually uplifting the believers. Maulana Qari Manzoor Ahmed Shakir, the driving force behind the centre, expressed his gratitude to all the attendees. He stated that their aim is to provide excellent upbringing for the younger generation in the light of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) pure life, exemplary character, and teachings, so that they may prove to be good citizens, good human beings, and good Muslims within society. The proceedings were moderated by the distinguished religious scholar Maulana Tahir Baghdadi. Qari Umar Daraz Khan Anwar had the honor of reciting the Holy Quran in a beautiful manner, while Naat reciters—including the Nasheed Group, Nazakat Hussain, Haji Hussain Tariq, Shahzad Ashiq Qadri, and Zaheer Bilali—captivated the hearts of the audience and created an atmosphere of spiritual ecstasy by presenting tributes of devotion to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in their melodious voices. The participation of a large number of people—particularly the younger generation and children—in this radiant gathering was a sight to behold. In their addresses, the religious scholars emphasized that the primary objective of such programs is to connect future generations with the Seerah (life and character) and moral teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) while living in Western society. Maulana Abdul Shakoor Qadri (Chairman of the Oldham Mosques Council), Allama Amjad Ali Sani (visiting from Lahore), and other scholars stressed that the message of the Prophet of Islam is not confined to Muslims alone; rather, it is a message of peace, love, and security for all of humanity. May Allah Almighty grant us all the ability to follow the Prophet’s blessed example. The gathering was also attended by Qari Mahmood-ul-Hassan, Maulana Farooq Sialvi, Sahibzada Atiq-ur-Rehman Qadri, and numerous religious and social figures. This spiritually uplifting event concluded with special prayers for the unity and progress of the Muslim Ummah and for global peace and security, followed by a Milad feast hosted by Haji Jameel Ahmed for the attendees.
