I have come for Afzal Khan’s services to the Pakistani and Kashmiri communities are commendable. Member of Parliament Afzal Khan said that the purpose of the fundraising is the election campaign of the Labour Party candidates in the Manchester Council elections in May next year. He thanked Anas Sarwar who came specially from Scotland. He further said that the Labour Party government has been in power for less than a year and our performance is in front of the nation. It will take some time for us to improve the conditions of the country during the last fourteen years of the Conservative Party being in power. Manchester City Deputy Lord Mayor Councillor Shaukat Ali – former Lord Mayor Councillor Yasmin Qureshi and former Lord Mayor Naeemul Hassan welcomed the fundraising and said that this will enable us to run the election campaigns of our candidates in a good manner. Councillor Jal – Councillor Aftab Razak – Councillor Wasim Hassan also welcomed it. Chaudhry Haroon Afzal Khatana – Chaudhry Abdul Qadir – Chaudhry Shahid – Chaudhry Umar Barula and the members and office bearers of the Labor Party who participated in the fundraising said about the fundraising that we should organize more such programs.
