Arain Association UK hosted a lavish luncheon in honour of the recently elected Scottish Assembly Member and Shadow Minister for Public Health and Sport Mian Irshad from Edinburgh and his distinguished guest Raja Abid Mahmood, who was visiting from Edinburgh, at the residence of Mian Tariq Aziz, Chairman of the Arain Association UK. Arain Association UK office bearers Chaudhry Mahmood, Nasr Iqbal Chaudhry, prominent lawyer Azhar Siddique, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan, Chaudhry Waseem, Central Media Coordinator of the Arain Association UK and Hafiz Muhammad Abdullah were also present. The guests were warmly welcomed upon arrival at Mian Tariq Aziz’s residence. Speaking to the media on this occasion, Mian Irshad said that Allah has bestowed this honor upon me through the efforts of my sincere friends and that he will make every effort to resolve the problems of his community. The distinguished guest from Pakistan, Azhar Siddique Advocate, said that British citizens of Pakistan are demonstrating outstanding performance in various fields and they will provide free legal aid to Pakistanis living abroad under the forum he has established, “World Justice and Peace Organization”. Mian Tariq Aziz thanked the distinguished guests and said that he will soon visit Scotland along with a delegation of the Arain Association UK and chapters of the Arain Association UK will be established in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen.
