Leading figures of the community, including MQM UK President Chaudhry Altaf Shahid Sidhu, TV anchor Mazhar Bukhari, former councilor Chaudhry Khizr-ur-Rehman, Chaudhry Sher Zaman – Chaudhry Shabbir Ahmed Member of District Council – Chaudhry Sajjad Hussain – Mahmood Asghar Chaudhry – Chaudhry Riaz – Malik Adnan – Malik Shakeel – Muhammad Ali – Nadeem – and others participated. Former Senior Minister of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Pervaiz Ashraf thanked the hosts and said that for the last seven decades, the Kashmiri nation has been struggling for its right to self-determination. We hope that the international community will continue its support for the right of Kashmiris to self-determination. He further said that the Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Kashmir is moving towards strength in the state and in the future a government of the lovers of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto will be established in Azad Kashmir. Chaudhry Altaf Shahid Sidhu said that he had a fruitful discussion with Chaudhry Pervez Ashraf about the political situation of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. Mazhar Bukhari said that we need such political leaders who practice politics of principles and had a fruitful discussion with them. Chaudhry Shabbir Ahmed and other personalities also welcomed the special guest and paid tribute to his political insight in great words. Hosts Raja Kamran and Raja Shamim thanked all the guests and said that we had a mutual discussion on the political situation of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir and it was good to be with friends.

The participants of the event paid tribute to Chaudhry Pervez Ashraf’s political insight and ideological maturity in great words and called it a victory of principled politics.
