On behalf of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Ashton Underline President Muhammad Ashfaq Warsi and his team, a spirited and united faith-building gathering was organized at Ashton Central Mosque to pay tribute to the great sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and the martyrs of Karbala. Allama Abdul Sattar Siraj, Hafiz Amjad Mahmood Bahgarvi and Qari Zahid Sharif participated in the event and conveyed the message of Karbala, refreshing the souls of the believers.

That the knowledge of truth and honesty should always be promoted, and falsehood must be eradicated. Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) sacrificed his life along with his family to maintain the religion of his grandfather until the Day of Judgment and embraced martyrdom, but did not pledge allegiance to Yazid. The spiritual gathering was hosted by Hafiz Athar Hussain Al-Azhari, Allama Qari Muhammad Zahid Sharif, Allama Hafiz Hafiz Muhammad Usman Mustafai, while Haji Muhammad Ashfaq Warsi presented the Manqabat to pay tribute to the martyrs of Karbala. Hafiz Amjad Mahmood Bahgarvi said that the spiritual gathering was held to pay tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and the martyrs of Karbala. The incident of Karbala teaches us a lesson of perseverance, trust in Allah Almighty and patience. Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) followed all these and embraced martyrdom. May Allah Almighty make us true and true lovers of the Lord of the Universe and the Ahlul Bayt, Amen. Allama Abdul Sattar Siraj said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) made a great sacrifice for the survival of the religion of Islam and revived the religion of Islam until the Day of Judgment. We should also instill the spirit of sacrifice in our young generation to keep our feet firmly on the religion of Islam. We should also encourage others to follow the exaltation of the religion of Islam and attract our young generation to this direction. Allama Qari Muhammad Zahid Sharif said that a special gathering was organized to pay tribute to the sacrifice made by Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions for the sake of Islam and a collective prayer was also offered for the martyrs of Karbala. The program was specially attended by the founders of Ashton Group, Haji Abdul Qayyum and Haji Azram. At the end, the guests were treated to a special langar.
Message from Minhaj-ul-Quran International Ashton Underline The participants in the Karbala event reiterated that victory always belongs to truth and justice. In order to eradicate falsehood, we should raise the awareness of truth and justice, even if it means sacrificing our lives.
