The monthly meeting of the Press Club of Pakistan UK was held at Platinum Hall, Manchester under the chairmanship of Chairman Ijaz Sheikh – in which the birthday cake of Mahmood Asghar Chaudhry – Hassan Chaudhry – Aamir Khan and Sumaira Ashraf was specially cut.

The meeting warmly welcomed the new members of the Press Club, Raja Wajid Hussain and Anila Aslam. Anila Aslam could not attend the meeting due to personal commitments. The meeting took a detailed review of the program held in the past few days and identified the areas where there was room for further improvement. The members agreed that we should continue to learn. The overall program and the efforts of the members were appreciated. Information Secretary Nadeem Kasana expressed the need to make the Press Club more active and sought suggestions from the members, on which all the participants expressed their opinions on this. There was also a consensus that the Press Club of Pakistan UK needs to work on its information technology. The main topic of today’s meeting The topic was the cake cutting ceremony of four members of the club, Sumaira Ashraf Finance Secretary, Mahmood Asghar Chaudhry Coordinator, Aamir Khan Program Organizer and Ahsan Chaudhry, on their birthdays in July, which made the meeting full of joy. After the cake cutting, the meeting took the form of a party and all the members had a great time together. The attendees likened the meeting to a healthy performance and reiterated that the members of the Press Club are like a family who know how to share happiness together. Former President of the Press Club of Pakistan and senior journalist Arif Chaudhry extended special congratulations to Hassan Chaudhry, Mahmood Asghar Chaudhry, Aamir Khan and Sumaira Ashraf on their birthdays.
