Professor Dr. Mughis A. Baig, Dean, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry – Principal of the University College of Medicine and Dentistry, Lahore, Dr. Mehwish Urooj – Founder of APPS, Dr. Abdul Hafeez, and more than a hundred doctors who have provided professional services in various medical fields participated. Dr. Jamil said that the host organized a beautiful program that provided an opportunity for mutual exchange with each other. Political and social figure Councilor Gohar said that the special purpose of organizing the ceremony is to pay tribute to the martyrs on Pakistan’s Defense Day who sacrificed their lives to make our future safe and stable. Dean Professor Dr. Mughees Baig, who came from Lahore, said that we wanted to meet our alumni doctors so that we could know about the position they have found in the UK and how we can help them in the future. Dr. Hasna said that it was good to interact with our alumni colleagues in the UK. The experience of coming to the UK was very wonderful for us. Dr. Mehwish Urooj said that we celebrated three joys together. On Defense Day, our Air Force defeated India in the war. Dr. Abdul Hafeez MBE said that we paid tribute to the Pakistan Air Force in great words on Defense Day and said that delegations of doctors from Pakistan have also come and we had a mutual exchange. Dr. Tariq Mateen and Dr. Kamran Aftab also described the event as positive and very informative. Host Dr. Zeeshan Ghaffar said that the two objectives of the event were one to pay tribute to the Pakistan Air Force on Pakistan Defence Day, which made the defence of the motherland invincible. The other was to bring together doctors graduated from Lahore on one platform and to guide and help them in every way as student doctors in the UK. Various delegations of doctors from Lahore, Pakistan also participated, which provided an opportunity to exchange views so that a strategy could be formulated that would move forward.
