Strong participation from the Pakistani community and business leaders — Nauman Saeed appointed President

Birmingham (Midlands) — The Pakistan Business British Forum formally inaugurated its new Midlands branch with the aim of introducing Pakistan and the Pakistani community more effectively within the UK business sector, and to encourage the younger generation towards entrepreneurship.

The ceremony was attended by leading forum representatives, prominent business personalities, and well-known community figures from across the region.

President of the Forum Manawar Chechi, Vice President Sajjad Gujar, and Hafiz Mahfooz addressed the gathering, stating that the core mission of the Forum is to bring people from all walks of life onto one platform and promote the spirit of community service. They said that in today’s fast-paced world, the passion to serve others is fading, yet the Forum has created an environment where both young and experienced individuals work together for the betterment of the Pakistani community. The establishment of the Midlands branch is an important step in this direction.

Renowned social activist Dr. Arafat and respected community leader Chaudhry Lateef praised the Forum’s efforts, describing service to humanity as a divine blessing. They appreciated the Forum’s mission of guiding young people towards positive thinking, constructive activities, and entrepreneurship, adding that the Forum’s presence in the Midlands will bring a fresh and meaningful change.

Chairman of the Forum Qaiser Chechi said in his speech:
“I set out alone on a journey with a noble purpose, and a caravan formed along the way… The destination will surely be reached, even if after some detours.”

He added that the inclusion of a capable and dedicated personality like Nauman Saeed is a moment of pride for the Forum, while the guidance of accomplished businessman Mian Maqbool is a valuable asset for the organization.

Senior journalist and thinker Waqar Malik, along with business leader Mian Maqbool, also addressed the event. They praised the Forum and Qaiser Chechi’s efforts, saying that when intentions are pure and trust is placed in God, success follows. They emphasized that the Forum’s journey — which began in Slough and has now reached the Midlands — is driven purely by the passion to serve Pakistan and the community.

The services of well-known journalist Muhammad Farhan (PK24) were also acknowledged at the event.

During the ceremony, Nauman Saeed was formally presented with his notification as the newly appointed President of the Midlands branch. Amid applause, he pledged to work with dedication for the Forum’s objectives, youth guidance, and the positive representation of Pakistan. He also hosted a special dinner in honor of Chairman Qaiser Chechi and other colleagues.

The event was attended by journalist Chaudhry Aamir Khan (Coventry City) and Chaudhry Aqeel, who made special appearances.
