ISLAMABAD:(Representative Nazish Jabeen)According to UG NEWS, Patron-in-Chief Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan’s Political Coordinator Amjad Ali Khan Niazi, in his statement on the current tense situation between Iran and the United States, said that the growing tension in the Middle East has become a serious threat not only to the peace, economic stability and global security of the region but also of the entire world. He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is committed to the position that the solution to any conflict lies not in the use of force but in meaningful diplomacy, mutual respect and adherence to international laws. The growing confrontation between Iran and the United States is creating instability in the region, which may have repercussions on energy markets, global trade and especially developing countries. Amjad Ali Khan Niazi said that Pakistan, as a responsible state, has always been a supporter of peace, negotiations and the role of mediation. PTI believes that war is not a solution to any problem but leads to further destruction, loss of human lives and economic misery. It is the responsibility of a major power like the United States to take the international community into confidence and resolve disputes with Iran at the negotiating table instead of taking unilateral measures. He added that Iran is Pakistan’s neighbor and brotherly Islamic country, and any new war in the region will have direct negative effects on Pakistan and the entire South and Central Asia. Therefore, it is necessary that the OIC, the United Nations and other international forums play an urgent and effective role to reduce tensions. Finally, he said that the vision of the Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has always been a foreign policy based on peace, sovereignty and justice. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf calls on the international community to show wisdom, prudence and responsibility so that the world can be saved from another devastating war.
