Vehicle Fitness Inspection, Practical Checking with VICS Team, Officers Given Special Briefing

On the directions of the higher authorities, a special briefing session regarding vehicle fitness inspection and effective monitoring was held at Beat No. 24, Roshan Bhait, Sector C-III, N-5 Central, Rahim Yar Khan.
The briefing session was conducted under the supervision of MVE Fahad Gilani with all off-duty officers. During the session, the officers were given detailed instructions regarding strict legal action against unfit vehicles and those failing to meet the prescribed fitness standards.
Particular emphasis was placed on the inspection of vehicles whose fitness certificates had expired or were invalid and unacceptable. The officers were also briefed in detail on the proper use and procedure of VICS login credentials for effective verification, legal enforcement and monitoring of vehicles.
Subsequently, the officers, in coordination with the VICS team, carried out practical fitness inspections of vehicles on the highway. The purpose of this practical activity was to enhance the officers’ understanding of vehicle fitness inspection, verification of relevant documents and the practical procedure for taking action in accordance with the prescribed rules.
The authorities stated that action against unfit vehicles on the roads would continue to ensure the safety and protection of the lives and property of passengers and other road users.
