In this regard, a bicycle rally was taken out by thirty plus youths from Bilal Masjid to Bury Peel Tower today, with the aim of raising funds for the construction of the new masjid and creating awareness among the public
After the approval of of new Masjid Bilal , the only masjid in Prestwich the community is raising funds in various ways for the construction of the mosque. In this regard, thirty plus youths from different areas of the North West today took out a bicycle rally from Bilal Masjid to Peel Tower Bury . The youths participated in the fundraising campaign for the construction of the mosque while traveling on bicycles and invited the community to cooperate in this good deed. After the bicycle rally was completed, all the cyclists reached Bilal Masjid where a special ceremony was held in their honor. In addition to the Imams of the masjid , business and religious figures also attended the ceremony. Former candidate for Metro Mayor Chaudhry Aslam Kamboh – Chaudhry Anush Aslam – Dr. Siddique Akbar Khalid – Imam Abid Khan molana Arif molana Sayam – and others were included. On this occasion, Shoaib Mahmood and Chaudhry Aslam Kamboh, who led the cycle rally, were presented with a special shield, while food was also arranged for all the participants. It is worth remembering that among the founders of the MasjidBilal , chairman Haji Habibullah, founding member and General Secretary Dr. Anwar Masood Nayyar and Hafiz Abdul Waheed Trustee’s family are playing their full role and their father, the late Haji Masood Ahmed RA played an important role in building the first Tablighi Markaz in UK and Al-Falah Center in Manchester – Even today, his Grandsons are actively involved to carry this mission and participate in this project. The organizers say that the participation of the youth in the cycle rally is a great example of the unity, passion and cooperation of the community for the construction of the new masjid Bilal
