The mother of Haroon Afzal Khattana, Chairman of the Greater Manchester Association, passed away peacefully in his ancestral city of Jhelum a few days ago.
A prayer and condolence gathering was organized for the Isal-e-Sawab of the late mother at Markazi Jamia Mosque, Victoria Park, Manchester. A large number of people attended the gathering not only from Manchester but also from other surrounding areas.
Participants included representatives from social, political, religious and business circles, along with family members, relatives, friends and well-wishers. The attendees collectively prayed for the forgiveness, eternal peace and elevation of ranks of the departed soul, and for patience and strength for the bereaved family.
The atmosphere during the prayer gathering was solemn and emotional, reflecting the deep respect and affection people held for the family.
On this occasion, Haroon Afzal Khattana expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all those who attended the gathering and offered prayers. He said that the presence and support of the community provided great comfort and strength to the family during this difficult time.
At the conclusion of the event, participants offered Fateha and conveyed their sincere condolences to the bereaved family.
May Allah Almighty grant the departed soul a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and bless the family with patience and fortitude. Ameen.
