PESHAWAR:(Special Representative)According to UG NEWS,A central leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Tabish Taufiq, strongly condemned the attack on the sovereign territory of Iran, describing it as cowardly and unacceptable. He stated that such aggression not only violates international law but also poses a serious threat to peace and stability across the entire region.He clarified that the current policy of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is based on principled positions, respect for sovereignty, and the promotion of regional peace. The party believes that the use of force tends to complicate issues rather than resolve them. Therefore, there is an urgent need for an immediate ceasefire, de-escalation, and meaningful diplomatic engagement to resolve disputes.
Tabish Taufiq also urged the Government of Pakistan to play a responsible and balanced role in the region, and particularly to address matters with the interim administration of Afghanistan through serious diplomatic initiatives, constructive dialogue, and confidence-building measures rather than through force or pressure.
He further emphasized that war is never a sustainable solution to any problem; lasting peace can only be achieved through dialogue, mutual respect, and regional cooperation—principles that form the cornerstone of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s policy.
