A special prayer ceremony was organized by the family of the late Sahibzada Haji Ikram-ul-Haq, a socio-political businessman from Ashton, at the Ashton Central Mosque.

A large number of political, social and religious figures, as well as the community, attended the Chehlum prayer ceremony. It is worth remembering that the late Haji Ikram-ul-Haq was the father of young businessman Haroon Ikram, and the literary personality of Britain and Pakistan and international poet Sabir Raza. He was the brother of businessman Babar Bhai. Haji Khalid Mahmood and Aamir Raza. He was a close relative of Mohduddin Cheema of Open Kitchen. The late Sahibzada Haji Ikram-ul-Haq served the community and actively participated in welfare works in Britain and Pakistan. His attitude towards the community was always exemplary. He held a unique position in character and speech. The participants of the ceremony paid tribute to the services of the late Sahibzada Haji Ikram-ul-Haq for the community in his life and said May Allah Almighty grant the deceased a place in Paradise, Amen, and grant patience to his family members. On this occasion, his son Haroon Ikram, his brothers Sabir Raza, Babar Hussain, Haji Khalid and Aamir Raza expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the friends and relatives who attended the prayer ceremony of the deceased today and said that the project started by the late Sahibzada Ikram-ul-Haq to serve the deserving people will be continued. We request the participants of our prayer ceremony to pray for the forgiveness of the deceased.
Finally, the participants of the spiritual gathering were treated to a special langar.
