A grand prayer ceremony was held at Jamia-ul-Noor Mosque, Ashton, to commemorate the annual death anniversary of the late Raja Shahbaz Khan, a prominent businessman and social figure of Manchester, and to pay homage to the late Masood Bhatti, a religious and social figure.

The ceremony was organized by the family of the late Raja Shahbaz. Special prayers were offered for the elevation of the ranks of both the deceased, while local religious, political and community leaders, including personalities from different walks of life, attended in large numbers.

The speakers paid tribute to the social services of the late Raja Shahbaz and the late Masood Bhatti and their efforts for the community, saying that they were a sociable and charitable personality, whose services will always be remembered. Raja Shahbaz’s young son Raja Ayaz Shahbaz. Brother Raja Azhar. Khan and cousin former councilor Raja Faraz Bhatti expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the relatives and friends who participated in the prayer ceremony and requested them to pray for their forgiveness.

At the end of the ceremony, a special langar was also arranged for the participants, where people offered Fateha and prayed for the deceased.
