Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed Meets Senator Chaudhry Muhammad Jafar Iqbal and MPA Begum Ishrat Ashraf; Discusses National and International Affairs
A significant meeting was held at the residence of senior central leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N), Senator Chaudhry Muhammad Jafar Iqbal, in Rahim Yar Khan. Former Federal Minister for Information, Chairman of the Pakistan-China Institute, and Chairman of the Pak-Africa Institute for Development and Research, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, visited the residence along with his family. Convener of the Women Parliamentary Caucus Committee and Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA), Begum Ishrat Ashraf, was also present.
The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, during which the participants exchanged views on a wide range of important national and international issues. Discussions focused on Pakistan’s current political and economic situation, regional developments, foreign relations, cooperation with China and African countries, regional peace, development initiatives, and national unity.
Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed emphasized the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and China and highlighted the importance of further strengthening economic and diplomatic cooperation, particularly under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He said that, in the changing global environment, Pakistan should continue to enhance its strategic partnerships with friendly nations.
Senator Chaudhry Muhammad Jafar Iqbal stated that the leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-N is committed to ensuring economic stability, national development, and public welfare. He stressed that all political and social stakeholders should work together in the national interest to promote progress and stability.
Begum Ishrat Ashraf highlighted the government’s efforts to empower women and improve education, healthcare, and social welfare. She reaffirmed her commitment to promoting women’s participation in decision-making and ensuring their welfare through practical initiatives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the leaders expressed goodwill and reaffirmed their commitment to working collectively for Pakistan’s development, stability, and the welfare of its people. The guests were warmly hosted, and commemorative photographs were taken to mark the occasion.
